Self Examination written by Dr. E.D. Griffin to a young lady, undated.

Thoughts on self-examination written by a Connecticut-born clergyman, educator, and revivalist. Griffin graduated from Yale in 1790 and received his doctorate in 1808 from Union College. He was minister at New Salem and New Hartford, Connecticut, as well as at Boston's Park Street Church. This document, ostensibly written as a letter to a young lady, whom someone has identified as Catharine Skinner, includes "Rules and Questions for daily self-examination."
